For the 24 percent of women who are fortunate enough to have ovarian cancer diagnosed when the cancer is confined to the ovary, there is a 90 percent survival rate. For the majority of women in whom the cancer has spread beyond the ovaries, the chance of living longer than 5 years is only 20 percent!

This is why as an organization we feel that early detection is such a huge deal. Raising awareness of the disease and focusing our efforts on women getting early diagnosis are the keys to eradicate ovarian cancer!
